How It Works
The credits system is the system by which Widgie World pays its art staff.
How it works:
1. Firstly, you have to apply to be a paid artist on the site. Contact us with some samples of your work using the link below. All applications are assessed based on the quality of your work.
2. Negotiate your prices. Once you have agreed on base prices, an art staff account will be set up for you.
3. Get creative! Use your imagination, or contact us if you need some inspiration.
4. Submit your art. Usually, if your art passes the basic quality checks and isn't a duplicate of something already on the site, it will be accepted. If your are is not accepted for some reason, you are of course free to sell it to someone else.
5. Cash in your credits. You can exchange your credits for money if you have a PayPal account.
The monetary value of credits is fixed and will not change. We will not award credits to an account if we do not have the means to pay it out right away. Alternatively, you can exchange your credits for in-site rewards.
Volunteer accounts: volunteer accounts are for people who want to help the site out but not receive a monetary payment. This includes volunteers, moderators and contributors. You can still apply for a credits account, but you will only be able to exchange credits for in-site rewards.
